Instructor

Josh Lim is a second year Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistical Science at Duke University. Josh’s research explores causal inference, missing data, machine learning, and their applications to biomedical and clinical medicine research. Prior to Duke, Josh graduated from UCLA in 2024 with B.S. in Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science. Outside of academics, you may find Josh competing with Duke Men’s Club Volleyball, performing with Duke Chinese Dance, flipping with Duke Gymnastics, or cheering for multiple UCLA sports.

Kenna Roberts is a rising second year Master of Statistical Science student at Duke. She is interested in statistical methods for public policy research and development. She completed a B.S. in Mathematics/Statistics in 2025 at Utah State University. When she’s not in class she’s probably either rock climbing, baking sourdough, or playing with her new kitten.
